Milk Filter Funnel

For all you out there milking animals your milk needs to be filtered before storage or use.  This plastic milk filter funnel is 28 cm wide at the mouth with a 13 cm outlet at the base.  It comes with a fine mesh filter which clips into the outlet that can be easily removed for cleaning.  It will filter large amounts of milk quickly.  This is more cost effective in the long run than using disposable filters.  If damaged the filters can be replaced.   Both the filter and funnel are washable in hot water but are not dishwasher safe nor can they be sterilised with boiling water.   To sterilise use bleach or our No Rinse Sanitiser.

This milk filter funnel can also be used to create a thicker yoghurt.  Rather than using thickeners, yoghurt can be drained with no messy muslin to wash afterwards.  The removable filter can be quickly rinsed under the tap.  It is a great way to thicken goats milk yoghurt which has a notoriously thin consistency.
