Description
Dimensions: 23cm long x 13cm wide x 8cm high and a curd volume size of around 2.3 litres. This Halloumi mould is a very free draining oblong shaped mould that has rounded rather than sharp corners with an accompanying follower/pressing plate. The mould has good sized feet that give a clearance of around 8mm allowing for good drainage. The body of the mould is quite flexible so suits a light towards medium pressing weight which is ideal for Halloumi or a pressed feta, or whatever cheese grabs your imagination! The sides of the mould are not vertical, they slope inwards slightly from the top to the base so the follower is not totally snug at the top but gets snugger as it moves down the height of the mould. It fits very snug at a height of 3cm but can go lower because of the mould’s flexible side walls.
