This filter can also be used to create a thicker yoghurt. Rather than using thickeners, yoghurt can be drained with no messy muslin to wash afterwards. It is a great way to thicken goats milk yoghurt which has a notoriously thin consistency.

If you damage the fine mesh filter in our Milk Filter Funnel this is the replacement. The filter is washable in hot water but is not dishwasher safe nor can it be sterilised with boiling water. It will filter large amounts of milk quickly. This is more cost effective in the long run than using disposable filters.
