Must be kept in the Freezer.

Description:  Flora danica is a mesophilic aromatic culture, type LD. This culture produces flavor and CO2. This culture is primarily used to make the following cheeses.

For Cheeses: Gouda, Edam, Leerdam, Camembert, Blue Cheese, etc

Packaging:   5ml plastic flat bottomed tube with easy opening top.

Amount:  10u which is sufficient for around 100 L of milk subject to the recipe.

 

This culture contains:

Lactococcus lactis subsp. cremoris
Leuconostoc
Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis
Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis biovar diacetylactis

Storage and handling:  < -18 °C / < 0 °F. i.e. in the Freezer
Shelf life:     At least 24 months from date of manufacture when stored according to recommendations.
