Description
The making of Camembert and cream cheese will be demonstrated. You can expect to learn generic cheesemaking techniques that are transferable to allow you to successfully make other cheeses in your home kitchen. The cream cheese will be made to completion and the camembert will be made to the point of curds draining in moulds. The next stages in the camembert making process, which occur over several weeks, will be discussed at length. I will share some tips to help you successfully develop a good rind and then mature the cheese well.
